Greetings!

We've got leaves on our vines! And what a glorious start to this warm weather weekend. Our paraglider friends flew in by the bunches, Chef Jay stopped by to offer tastings of his Shibui sauce, and the view...well, the view is always fantastic. What can we say?

We'd like to thank all of the venues we've been at in the last couple of weeks: the Thomas Lee Gallery for the Taste of Ashland, the Medford Co-op for their Thursday night tastings, and the ScienceWorks Museum for the Science of Wine Gala, just to name a few. And a big thanks to the Portrait of Portland Magazine for featuring our little ol' business in their most recent volume. Check it out on newsstands!

As we're gearing up for the Summer, we'd like to remind all of the paraglider fans out there to check out the Rat Race Facebook page for any and all details surrounding the week-long spectacle. We're a primary landing zone once again, so loitering is encouraged!

In the last few days, vineyards in the Applegate Valley have all turned Irish, they are showing the "Green."  Last Sunday, the first few buds opened and by Tuesday nearly all were opened and growing - and growing FAST.  The question everyone has for me: "Will this be a good year for grapes?"  Ask me two weeks after I harvest and I will tell you (smile).  Until then, my answer is "so far."
